New Album Out Now!

After sixteen years, singer/songwriter Greg Amici is back in the studio. Initially, he reached out to musician/producer James Mastro (The Bongos, Mott the Hoople) to record a few favorite songs. However, after completing In Like a Lion, a “serial killer romance,” and Spin That Ball, written for the basketball biopic Black Jack, The Jackie Ryan Story, he, Mastro, and drummer/engineer Ray Ketchem (Elk City) decided to continue recording at Ketchem’s Magic Door Studio in Montclair, NJ.
The result was Tragicomic, a mix of upbeat satires (“Cynthia, Come to Me,” “No Fool”) and dark ballads (“Junky Eyes,” “I’ll Be Back”). The album features contributions from former bandmates Joe Gentile (Big Honey) and Tommy Aboussleman (Electric TNT), along with special guests Tony Shanahan (Patti Smith Band) and Renee LoBue (Elk City).
